Social Media Management in South Africa
You did not start a business so you could sit up on a Sunday night thinking of captions. Hand that part to us.
- Posts that go up on time, every single week
- Graphics made for your brand, not pulled off a template
- Captions that sound like a person wrote them
- Someone actually answering your DMs and comments
Posting Is Easy. Week Six Is the Problem.
Almost every business page starts well. The first fortnight you post the shop, the team, the new stock, a braai photo. Then a big order lands, then month-end, then someone is off sick — and the newest thing on the page is a Heritage Day graphic from two years ago.
Customers see that. When somebody hears your name and goes looking, your Facebook or Instagram page is often the first thing they find, before your website and before your reviews. A page that stopped in 2024 answers a question they never asked out loud: are these people still trading?
So that is the job. Not going viral. Not chasing a dance that nobody remembers by Friday. A page that stays alive, looks like your business, and gives someone a reason to hit the message button.
What Lands in Your Month
Six things, every month, on every package. The number of posts changes; the work behind each one does not.
A Plan You See First
Before anything goes live you get the month laid out — what is going up, on which day, and roughly what it says. You change what you do not like. Nothing gets posted to your page that you have not seen.
Graphics, Not Clip Art
Your colours, your logo, your photos where you have them. Designed one at a time. If you have never had a brand put together properly, we will settle on a look in the first month and then stick to it so your page starts being recognisable.
Captions and Hashtags
Written so they sound like your business talking, not a marketing department. Hashtags chosen for what people in your area actually search, which is usually a much shorter list than the thirty everyone dumps at the bottom.
We Answer the Messages
Comments and DMs get replied to on weekdays. Price questions, opening hours, is-this-in-stock. Anything we cannot answer we send straight to you with the customer still warm, instead of leaving them on read for four days.
Setting the Pages Up Right
Half the pages we take over are missing the basics: no hours, wrong number, a logo squashed into a circle, two Facebook pages competing with each other. We fix that first, because it is the cheapest win available.
A Report You Can Read
At month end: what went up, what people actually engaged with, how many messages came in. Two pages, plain language, no dashboard login. If a month was quiet it will say so and say what we are changing.
The Platforms We Run
You do not need all of them. A plumber does not need TikTok and a salon does not need LinkedIn. Part of the first conversation is working out which two or three are worth your money.
Still the one that matters most for the majority of South African businesses. It is where the marketplace groups are, where the older buyers are, and where word of mouth turns into a tagged comment.
For anything that sells on how it looks — food, hair, clothing, interiors, events. Stories do as much work here as posts, which is why they are included rather than sold separately.
TikTok
Cheap reach if you are willing to be on camera or show the work happening. Not for everyone, and we will tell you if we think it is a waste of your time.
If you sell to other businesses, this is where the person who signs the order actually reads things. Slower, quieter, better leads.
WhatsApp Business
Not a posting platform so much as the place every enquiry ends up. We make sure your catalogue, hours and auto-replies are set up so nobody is left waiting.
YouTube & Shorts
For anything that needs showing rather than telling — installations, before and afters, how a service works. Short vertical clips, cut from footage you already have on your phone.
How the First Month Goes
No long onboarding document. One call, one plan, and posts going up inside the first week.
-
Step01
We Look at What You Have
Send us your pages and tell us what you sell. We go through what is there, what is missing, and what your competitors down the road are doing. Takes us a day.
-
Step02
You Approve Month One
We send the plan — the posts, the dates, the look. You cut what you do not want. When you say go, we get access to the accounts and start.
-
Step03
We Post and We Reply
Posts go out on the agreed days. Messages get answered on weekdays. You carry on running the business and check the page when you feel like it, not because you have to.
-
Step04
Month End, We Report Back
What went up, what worked, what is changing next month. If you want out, you say so and that is the end of it — there is nothing to cancel and no notice period.
Your Competitors Are Posting. You Should Be Too.
Send us the link to your page and what you sell. We will come back with which platforms are worth your money, which package fits, and what your first month would look like. It costs nothing to ask.
Get In TouchThe Things People Ask Us First
Fair questions, answered properly, before you hand anyone the keys to your pages.
No. Facebook and Instagram let you add us as a manager on the page without giving up your own login, and that is how we prefer to work — you stay the owner and you can remove us in two taps. For the platforms that do not work that way, we will tell you upfront what access we need and why.
Then it does not go up. You see the month before anything is scheduled, so most of that gets sorted before it exists. If something slips through that you are unhappy with after it is live, message us and it comes down. It is your name on the page, not ours.
Not in the monthly fee, no. We work with what you have — and most businesses have far more usable photos sitting on a phone than they think. If you genuinely have nothing, we can arrange a shoot and quote it separately, or show you how to get decent shots yourself in ten minutes with a window and a clean wall.
Followers move slowly and that is the wrong thing to watch anyway. What usually shifts first is messages — often inside the first month, because a page that looks active and has the right hours and number on it converts the people who were already going to look you up. Real growth in reach is a three to six month conversation.
No, and it is worth being clear. This is organic — posting, replying, building a page that works without paying for reach. Paid ads are a separate service with a separate budget that goes to Facebook or Google, not to us. The two work well together, but you do not need ads for this to be worth doing.
You tell us and we stop at the end of the month you have paid for. No contract, no notice period, no cancellation fee. We hand the accounts back with you as the only admin, and everything we made for you stays yours — graphics, captions, the lot.
Posts, yes — they are scheduled ahead, so if Saturday morning is when your customers are scrolling, that is when they go out. Replies to messages are weekdays. If your business lives on weekend trade and you need someone watching the inbox on a Saturday, say so and we will work something out.
